Network¶
For Staffcop to work correctly, configure the open ports and consider the data transmission channel width between devices.
System Ports¶
Warning
Open port 80, otherwise both on- and offline server activation will be impossible.
| Port | Destination |
|---|---|
| TCP:80 | Initial setup, activation, and updates. Not required for agent operation. |
| TCP:443 | Server access, agent data transfer, remote control module, installing updates. Can be changed to a customgit company port. |
| TCP:22 | SSH server access. Used for maintenance. |
| TCP:445 UDP:137 UDP:138 UDP:139 | Required for remote agent installation, updates, and removal. Must be open on the workstation side. |
| TCP:445 | Used for remote agent installations from the server. Must be open on the agent side. |
| TCP:9090 | Sends data to graphic object recognition server. Port opens to graphic object recognition server. |
Transmission Channel Requirements¶
The Channel width depends on the volume of transferred data. If using the desktop monitor, file scanner, desktop video streaming and webcam, at least 1 GB/s is recommended.
On average, one agent generates about 100-200 KB/s of data.
The network traffic from an agent increases:
- when enabling the file scanner, screenshots, screen and webcam video recording,
- by 2 MB/sec with a remote desktop connection or online screen recording.
