Disc auto clean

To avoid the problem with the hard disk overflow, you should estimate the amount of data that you need to store beforehand, and configure auto-cleaning.

System Policy Auto cleanup is a preset policy. To configure it go to the “Filters -> Policies -> System policies -> Auto cleanup”.

When the amount of data on the disk exceeds the specified percentage of HDD filled up to StaffCop will start deleting the data to clear at least 1% of the disk space.

Auto clean properties:

- **Action if out of space** - choose the action performed on the percentage threshold of the disk.
- **Warning when file storage filed up to, %** - when this percentage of HDD space is reached you will see the alert in the filters tab.
- **Warning when DB filled up to, %** - when this percentage of databse space is reached you will see the alert in the filters tab.
- **Delete files after storage filled up to, %** - Deletes files after reaching the threshold, if the “Delete” action is chosen.
  • Backup path to move files before deletion - here you can write the path to the directory on which the disk is mounted, that is used to store autosaved database backups when the threshold is exceeded. If the method is “Move”.
