Block web-sites

Websites can be blocked by black or white lists.

Blocking requires modules “The Internet” and “Network connections” to be enabled.

Black list:

In order to block access to certain sites, do the following:

  1. Open the configuration assigned to the PC on which you need to block access to this site.

  2. Select “The Internet” and in the “Rules: Access - Sites” menu, under “Block”, enter sites and press “Enter”.

  1. You need to add all the sites that should be locked. Sites are written in a column, one by one. Blocking the main site blocks the subdomains.

White list

White list allows you to specify sites that can be accessed. All other websites will be blocked.

  1. Just as in the previous case, open the required configuration.

  2. Select “The Internet” and in the “Rules: Access - Sites” menu, under “Allow”, enter sites and press “Enter”.

  1. Set the list of sites allowed to visit. All other sites will be blocked.

Block web-sites on Linux agent

Starting from version 0.5.19 Linux agent can block websites from the list “Rules -> Access - >Sites (Block)”

“Web-traffic” module must be enabled

Only black list is supported, blocking by ipv4, ipv6 and substring.

Note

in “Block” the substring is stated, so if “mail” is stated here, both gmail.com and mail.ru will be blocked.

Ipv4 - it’s enough to write 192.168.1.0/24 or just 1.2.3.4
